Gabe Byars, OTR/L, MSCS is faculty in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Salt Lake Community College. He specializes in rehab for individuals with neurological impairments and neurodegenerative degenerative disease. He has advanced certifications as a Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Specialist and in LSVT-BIG. He currently practices at the Salt Lake Community College pro bono occupational therapy clinic and at the University of Utah acute and inpatient rehabilitation. He holds master’s degrees from Duke University in Biology and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in Occupational Therapy.
